Christians face many challenges today as society changes. In today’s ever-changing society, sacred values are being ridiculed, while once unthinkable things have become normalized. Christians often find themselves at the forefront of these debates by choice or chance. From the controversial arguments surrounding traditional versus same-sex marriage to the battle for the sanctity of life in the womb, Christians are called to engage with clarity and conviction.

This event will remind men in church leadership how to be the church in an ever-changing world with a never-changing Word.  As leaders, let’s continue to be in the world but not of it.

Breakout Sessions

Join us for these interactive, informative, and practical breakout sessions, which will examine specific aspects of these five essential components (the “5 Cs”) of Making, Maturing, and Mobilizing disciples of Christ. Each session will aid leaders in expanding their understanding and application of timeless biblical principles that apply to any ministry, regardless of size or resource limitations. At this conference, Kindred leaders are looking forward to dialoguing with other like-minded leaders and leaders in training who desire to cultivate an environment of discipleship and service in their local church ministry.

Learn more about the "5 Cs"

These principles focus on the following critical areas of growth for church members:

COMMUNITY focuses on local and global outreaches proclaiming the gospel and strengthening churches.

CHURCH focuses on corporate worship practices, including giving, ordinances, and serving in the body.

CONNECTED focuses on providing biblical preaching, shepherding, and care for every age and stage, as well as training the body in biblical discipleship and counseling.

CALLED focuses on equipping the body to grow in its knowledge and understanding of the Word.

COMMISSIONED focuses on training and multiplying ministry trainers and leaders of leaders.

At Kindred, we believe in Making, Maturing, and Mobilizing disciples of Christ within our local community.  In order to build a strong and thriving Christian community, Kindred leadership utilizes the five principles (the “5 Cs”) to help guide our mission and purpose as a church.
